Organiser Information & Guidelines


These pages provide Heritage Open Days participants with nearly everything they need to get started: information on entry criteria and registration, newsletters, facts and figures, all components of the registration pack, a marketing tool kit, comments from fellow organisers and the full Heritage Open Days workshop programme.

Participation

Anybody can participate and register a property with Heritage Open Days, provided that they own or manage the property. If you are a Civic Society, Preservation Trust, Local Authority or other organisation and wish to open properties in your locality which you do not own or manage, please approach the owners of the respective properties and ask for their consent before registering the property with Heritage Open Days.

But Heritage Open Days is not just about opening buildings. You can also organise guided tours and all kinds activities to bring local history and culture to life.
