We would like to thank everyone who took part in the raffle. Each ticket bought helped support the future of Heritage Open Days, with 50 % of the proceeds going directly to the property or organisation that sold the ticket, so it really made a difference to many local volunteers who, by and large, fund their Open Days events out of their own pocket and put so many hours into bringing joy and discovery to their communities. The other 50% went to the event’s national coordinator, the Civic Trust, one of the leading environmental charities in the UK, working and campaigning for better places for people to live, work and play in.
